Microsoft really tired of negative comments and old look of their all ie browsers that doesn't provides a good UI and are really very very slow for some light net users.
Spartan, is a new browser with lots of features, but it uses the same Trident rendering engine and Chakra JavaScript engine just like Internet Explorer.It has a Different UI and tabs on the top like Chrome and Firefox - One can also install extensions also.Extensions could be very useful and we should wait for windows10.Spartan browser and let's see what's microsoft decided to do with it before we get excited much.
The new browser, codenamed as Spartan, will be unveiled on January 21 to talk about Windows 10.It will be hard for Microsoft browser Spartan to win over mobile or any other Non-Windows device especially when most Android and iOS users more likely to use the mobile's default browser to browse the internet.
And Microsoft has not named their upcoming browser(Spartan is just a codename and won't be the name attached when it'll be released.)
